The Hamilton by Steed Upholstery

Founded in 1965, Steed Upholstery is synonymous for creating upholstery of outstanding quality. Each and every aspect of their furniture is handcrafted from start to finish with a meticulous attention to detail.

The Hamilton is a superb ten cushion design with elegant traditional lines, it features a nice high back offering good support, especially in the lumbar section which is filled with high grade Dacron "Qualofil" fibre to provide optimum comfort.

The Hamilton is made from start to finish by hand in the Steed factory at Long Eaton, Nottingham, so is a traditionally made British piece of furniture. It is constructed using only the best materials available, including a solid hardwood frame with all joints screwed, glued and dowelled for optimum strength, ensuring you many years of use from your furniture.

Available in a wide array of fabrics from the Steed swatch rack, including some stunning traditional patterns and plains, along with some elegant striped fabrics with matching co-ordinating patterns and plains. These can be mixed and matched to your personal preference as Steed bespoke your furniture to your exact requirements.

• Solid hardwood frames with all joints screwed, glued and dowelled for optimum strength.
• Four layers of top quality paddings encapsulating the wooden frame.
• Fully sprung base giving superb support and comfort.
• Top quality seat cushions constructed with 3 layers of high resiliace foam wrapped in supersoft Dacron.
• Option to have fibre seat cushions if prefered (using Dacron "Qualofil").
• Dupont "Qualofil" pocket fibre back cushions.
• Reversible seat and back cushions - for added wear and durability
• Valance fabric carefully matched by hand which is interlined, lined and then hand sewn to achieve a superb look.
• All metal "Kenrick Shepherd" castors used for ease of movement.
• Stunning choice of fabrics, many with co-ordinating pattern, plain and striped options if required
